Not one drop of water will not remain untreated

Denizli Municipality his waste water facility. which could not be treated due to the difference in elevation. Waste Water Treatment Plant was put into service with the support of South Aegean Regional Development Agency (ARGA).
Mayor Zolan attended the closing meeting, held in the framework of Waste Water Treatment Plant Infrastructure Retrofitting Project. Deputy Mayors Mahmud Güngör, Mustafa Gökoğlan, Nilgün Ök, Aytaç Turgut, Secretary-General of South Aegean Regional Development Agency Mehmet Aydıner and many guests attended the meeting, held at Waste Water Treatment Plant.
After meeting Mayor Zolan and accompanying received information about the facility from officials. Then Waste Water Treatment Plant Infrastructure Retrofitting Project, cost of which is 1 million 268 thousand 730 TL (590 Thousand TL supported by South Aegean Regional Development Agency) was opened.
Mayor Zolan in his speech expressed his happiness of putting into service a new plant. 'Municipalities need to make investments in this kind of projects for better future of city. We are, as always, continue increasing these investments. After putting into service the Waste Water Treatment Plant, we could not treat some kinds of waste water. We have been unable to due to the difference in elevation. But now, we have eliminated this problem. System operates at full capacity. We did it together with South Aegean Development Agency. I hope, that in the future Denizli will be more livable and will have a cleaner environment.'
Mehmet Aydıner: 'This project is very important for us. This project is a good example of service, which should be provided to our people.'
Mahmud Güngör also gave information about the project.
After opening ceremony, Mayor Zolan showed guests the water before and after treatment. Mayor noted that treated water is used as 1st class of agricultural irrigation water and showed fish living in this water.
