Huge infrastructure investments in 4 neighborhoods more

One more investment in infrastructure worth of 39.52 million Euro reaches Denizli.

After the huge infrastructure investment amounting 120 million lira in İncilipınar, Cumhuriyet, Fatih and Deliktaş neighborhoods, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan signed the credit agreement of 39.52 million Euro for the construction of wastewater and stormwater network in İlbade, Muratdede, Akkonak and Karaman neighborhoods.


For the construction of drinking water, wastewater and stormwater network in İlbade, Muratdede, Akkonak and Karaman neighborhood was signed a credit agreement through the Provincial Bank that will be obtained from the World Bank. The signing ceremony for the 39.52 million Euro credit was joined by the Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan, General Director of the Metropolitan Municipality DESKİ Mahmud Güngör, World Bank official Canan Yıldız and Provincial Bank Technical Specialist Asst. Gökhan Gökce.  Stating that they started strongly to infrastructure work in the city, Mayor Zolan, ''Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is signing again for another infrastructure project in collaboration with the World Bank and the Provincial Bank. I would like to thank firstly the Provincial Bank and the World Bank for the confidence they have shown in our Municipality and for the long-term loans granted. Hopefully, with this loan we will solve the problem of infrastructure in Karaman, Akkonak, Muratdede and İlbade neighborhoods.

 

"This signature is a beginning"


Stating that by renewing the drinking water lines, citizens will consume a better drinking water quality, Mayor Zolan, ''We planed to completely change the waste water treatment and sewage system in this region. Then we will renew the superstructure in these neighborhoods. If people will be happy, we will be happy. This signature is a beginning. Hopefully we'll continue soon with the tender and with the construction beginning, ''he said. Mayor Zolan spoke as follows: "At the end of November 2016, we plan to complete the work in Karaman, Akkonak, İlbadı and Muratdede neighborhoods and to fulfill the demands of our people. I hope this agreement to be auspicious for our city, for the Provincial Bank and the World Bank. "
 

Will be made 131.3 kilometers of utility line


With the credit obtained from the World Bank through the Provincial Bank will be made drinking water, wastewater and stormwater networks construction work in İlbade, Muratdede, Akkonak and Karaman neighborhoods. The infrastructure renewal work in the neighborhoods consists in 61.3 kilometers of drinking water lines, 50.8 kilometers of wastewater lines and 19.2 kilometers of stormwater utility lines.
