Within the framework of 'Hand in Hand for Education' project of City Council's Youth Assembly of Denizli Municipality, 70 volunteer students of Pamukkale University gave the lectures for 250 senior high school students who are financially inable.
Within the framework of 'Hand in Hand for Education' project of City Council's Youth Assembly of Denizli Municipality, 70 volunteer students of Pamukkale University gave the lectures for 250 senior high school students who are financially inable.
Volunteer educators at the same time have got the first teaching experiences. The ceremony of awarding certificates was held at Çamlık Park. Mayor Osman Zolan, Nihat Zeybekci Member of Parliament, Sebahattin Akgül Director of Education, Şamil Çınar deputy mayor and many volunteer educators attended the ceremony. Ruçhan Ertuğrul Co-Chair of Youth Assembly briefed about project and noted that during the 4 years of implementation of this project 800 students entered the university.
Mayor Zolan stated that thanks to similar projects, we can look to the future with confidence. ‘Thanks to you the future will be much better. Volunteer teachers could spend weekends with their families. But they were here to give our students lessons. For this reason I thank them.’
Nihat Zeybekci stated that from beginning of the project, he has followed volunteer educators with appreciation. He thanked all volunteers for their support to the education.
Educators also conveyed their thoughts.
Later, Mayor Zolan, Nihat Zeybekci and Sebahattin Akgül gave sertificates to educators.
