A Language - A Culture Project from Youth Assembly

Within ''A Language - A Culture' Project, organized by Youth Assembly of Denizli Municipality, educators from 5 foreign countries teach English to 70 young people.
Month-long training of English language has been completed. Educators from Serbia, Poland, Romania, Iran and Ukraine teached English to 70 young people. After courses which lasted 33 hours, trainees received certificates. Şamil Çınar deputy mayor, Hüdaverdi Otaklı director of Social and Cultural Affairs Department, Betül Gürbuğa Project Coordinator and many trainees attended the ceremony.
Şamil Çınar stated that Youth Assembly has undertaken many several important projects and A Language - A Culture Project is the one of the successful projects of Assembly.
Betül Gürbuğa briefed about project to participants. Then trainees received their certificates.
PROJECT SUMMARY
Through the medium of AİESEC, 8 foreign volunteers’ educators from 5 different countries, aged between 18 and 26 came to Denizli in order to teach English. The education program lasted until 7 September. Foreign trainees were accomodated in the homes of voluntary students. In this context, continuity and cultural exchange was provided.
