Denizli's 2nd Aegean Minstrels Feast

Şamil Çınar deputy mayor, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı rector of PAU and many folk song lovers took part in the feast which was held at PAU Congress and Culture Center.
Assoc. Dr. Bekir Sami Özsoy faculty member of Celal Bayar University attended as the honored guests at the concert.
Temel Şahin (Minstrel Temel Turabi) from Bursa, Taner Öztürkoğlu from Kocaeli, Yakup Temeli (Temel) from Ankara, Derdiyar (Murat Tanrıverdi) from Yozgat, Feymani (Osman Taşkaya) from Adana, Cefakâr (Recep Ateş) from Sivas, Abdullah Gizlice from Osmaniye, Ahmet Poyrazoğlu from İstanbul, Osman Feryadi (Erten) from Manisa, Ali Rıza Ezgi from İzmir, Sıtkı Eminoğlu (Emen) from Erzurum, Erol Ergani from Kocaeli, Selahattin Kazanoğlu (Kazan) from Antalya, Muhsin Yaralı (Özen) from Aydın, Ayten Gülçınar from Ankara, Yağız Ozan (Arif İnan Yıldırım) from Konya, Orhan Üstündağ from İstanbul, Nihat from Denizli and Sevil Hıdırova from Azerbaijan came on the scene with saz.
Denizli’s minstrel Nihat Sönmez (Minstrel Nihat) hosted minstrels. He greeted all minstrels and folk song lovers with saz and words. Then minstrels with folk songs and saz added color to the concert. Assoc. Dr. Bekir Sami Özsoy read the poem written for Çanakkale Martyrs.
Şamil Çınar stated that Denizli Municipality will continue to organize Minstrel Feast every year in order to reveal the rich tradition of our nation.
Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Bağcı thanked Denizli Municipality and all minstrels for the organizing such an event.
