Mayor Zolan joined Ashura charity in Güzelköy and Dokuzkavaklar

Due to the month of Muharram, the Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan joined Ashura charity organized in different points of the city. Participating in Ashura charity organized in Güzelköy and Dokuzkavaklar neighborhoods, Mayor Zolan, ''We need to keep alive and to protect this value organized for thousands of years, ''he said.

Due to the month of Muharram, the Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan joined Ashura charity organized in different points of the city. Firstly Mayor Zolan joined the Ashura event organized in Güzelköy neighborhood by Mehmet Tunç Parent Association and the residents of the neighborhood. Later, Mayor Zolan joined the Ashura activities carried out by the residents of Dokuzkavaklar neighborhood. In Güzelköy neighborhood Mayor Zolan watched the folk dance show presented by the students of the neighborhood and took a plenty of photos with them. In his speech here, Mayor Zolan thanked everyone who contributed in the event. Mayor Zolan, ''This is our value and it is celebrated for more than a thousand years. We need to keep alive our values, we need to transmit them to the new generations, our children, our people need to live these traditions over again, "he said.
