In the context of the Holy Birth Week, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Council Urban Poets Society organized the program called ''The Prophet in Turkish poetry''. Citizens showed great interest in the night that described the Hz. Prophet's poetry, hymns and eulogies.

In the context of the Holy Birth Week, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Council Urban Poets Society organized the program called ''The Prophet in Turkish poetry''. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor and the City Council President Ali Değirmenci, Deputy Secretary General Mustafa Gökoğlan, Head of Culture, Tourism and Publicity Department Hüdaverdi Otaklı and a large number of invited guests attended the program held at the Çatalçeşme Theatre Hall. In his speech here, the Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Değirmenci thanked everyone who contributed to the preparation of the program and said: ''We commemorate our holy Hz. Prophet with poetry, eulogies, and hymns. May Allah rest his soul in peace. Let's pray together for the Holy Birth Week and the three blessed months until Ramadan. May Allah have mercy on our martyrs. I wish patience to their families. ''

Indeed, a very significant and a very beautiful sentence. I think the salvation of our world will come from the Muslim world. Hopefully, with our unity, brotherhood and solidarity our world will be more beautiful and more peaceful. ''After the speech, the City Council Urban Poets Society members read poetry, hymns, and eulogies. In the program the Head of Culture, Tourism and Publicity Department Hüdaverdi Otaklı also took the stage and read a poem. City Council President, Değirmenci gave roses to the poets who attended the event.
