Children's Festival in Buldan

Turkey's largest Children's Festival organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for the 6th time this year, took place in Buldan. After the festival held in Babadağı and Sarayköy, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan met with children in Buldan.

Turkey's largest Children's Festival organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for the 6th time this year continue to entertain the children from districts. After Babadağ and Sarayköy, the Children's Festival took place on the Buldan District Stadium. Together with the entertainment team, children had fun by competed with each other in traditional games like rope-pulling race and sack race. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan, Buldan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Gülbay and accompanying guests joined the festival. Mayor Zolan, who participated in the rope-pulling race with the children, did not neglect to take a souvenir photo.

 

"Real games, real friendships"


Stating that they are trying to get children out of the virtual world, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan said: ''Real games, real friendships are more important for our children. With this festival, we are trying to develop these. One of the biggest duties of parents is to grow up our children intertwined with nature, spending some of their free time outdoors. This is very important for our children both in terms of mental and physical health. "
 

"Take your kids to the parks"


Mayor Zolan said: ''We have parks in many neighbourhoods. Parents should bring their children to these parks. Let's try to keep our children far away from television and computer, and let's meet them with the real life in nature. We have to grow up generations to know to confront with facts. Real life and real games will bring great contributions to our children in terms of both mental and physical health and in their brain development. With these activities we want our children to get used to this habit. ''
