Çanakkale Victory told during the Bosphorus tour

The first group participating in Bursa-Canakkale trip organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for citizens between the ages of 50-75 has completed their journey to history. Citizens participating in the trip had the opportunity to learn about the Çanakkale Victory during the Bosphorus tour. The second group was sent off by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan.

The first group participating in Bursa-Canakkale trip organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for citizens between the ages of 50-75 has completed the journey to history. Visiting Çanakkale with the traces of the Ottoman Empire, where the heroic legend was written and  Bursa with its historical and cultural values, the first group experienced unforgettable moments during the historic journey. After the morning prayer in Bursa Ulu Mosque, the citizens from Tavas, Serinhisar, Kale and Beyağaç districts visited the Emir Sultan Complex, Çelebi Mehmet and Green Tomb, Clock Tower, Kozahan Bazaar, and the tombs from Orhan Gazi and Osman Gazi Tophane.


They  experienced very  emotional moments


On the second day of the trip, the group passed from Çanakkale Lapseki to Gelibolu peninsula by ferry. During the Bosphorus boat tour, citizens participating in the trip had the opportunity to learn about the Çanakkale Victory. The group who visited here the Kilit Bahir Castle, Mecidiye Tabyaları, Seyid Onbaşı, Martyrdom of Sahra Hospitals, Şehitler Abidesi, Yahya Çavuş, Conk Bayırı, Bloody Hill, the 57th Regiment and other martyrdom has experienced very emotional moments.


Journey  to history


On the other hand, Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Osman Zolan sent off the second group on the journey to history. Addressing to the citizens came from Acıpayam and Çameli districts with a total of 10 buses, Mayor Zolan said: ''You are going to Bursa, the capital of the Ottoman Empire, then you will go to Çanakkale, where our lands were irrigated by our martyrs' blood, where the price of our freedom was paid.
