Countdown begins for the new ring road

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which relieved the city traffic with its transportation projects, approached the end of the new ring road of 50 meters wide. After the Hal Bridge Interchange, tens of thousands of vehicles will not enter the city centre traffic with the new ring road of 50 meters wide which will be connected to the Bozburun Bridge Interchange. With the giant project, dozens of neighbourhoods will reach İzmir and Ankara easily.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which carried out successful projects in transportation throughout the city and continues to take new precautions for the rapidly increasing number of population and vehicles in the city, approached the end of the new ring road of 50 meters wide. In this context, the new ring road going to Üçler Boulevard will be connected to Hal Bridge Interchange, thus, dozens of neighbourhoods in the district such as 1200 Evler, Yenişehir, Adalet, Gümüşler, Üçler, Göveçlik, Yenişafak, Hisar, Hallaçlar, Barutçular, Bereketler, Çakmak, Kadılar and Karahasanlı neighbourhoods will reach İzmir Boulevard, Bozburun road and Ankara road safely. The new ring road will consist of four lanes per sense, two parking areas, bicycle path and bus pockets. There will also be a sidewalk on both sides of the ring road and three smart junctions.


Thousands of vehicles will no longer enter in the city centre


With this gigantic project carried out by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, thousands of vehicles that enter the city centre every day will transit easily and faster the 1200 Evler, Yenişehir, Adalet, Gümüşler, Üçler, Göveçlik, Yenişafak, Hisar, Hallaçlar, Barutçular, Bereketler, Çakmak, Kadılar ve Karahasanlı regions from İzmir Boulevard. The foundation and concrete coating works have been completed, the lighting installation, the middle refuge construction and decoration work are closing to the end. Road pavement laying work also started.


''A ring road worthy to our Denizli''


Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Osman Zolan said the new ring road will also play an important role in relieving traffic in the city centre. Mayor Osman Zolan said, ''Our citizens from dozens of neighbourhoods such as 1200 Evler, Yenişehir, Adalet, Gümüşler, Üçler, Göveçlik, Yenişafak, Hisar, Hallaçlar, Barutçular, Bereketler, Çakmak, Kadılar and Karahasanlı who want to go to İzmir or Ankara will use our new  50 meters wide ring road. Our fellow citizens will be able to reach their destination without entering the city traffic, more securely, economically and easily. I hope that our new ring road, worthy of our Denizli to be completed in a short time and opened for our citizens. "
