Visiting the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Street Animals Housing, Rehabilitation Center and Wildlife Park, children learn to love animals at a young age. Learning how to feed, to take care and how to treat the animals, children also learned about the icon of the city, Denizli Rooster.

Street Animals Housing, Rehabilitation Center and Wildlife Park, opened by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality recently, has been visited intensively since the first day. In the facility, which is especially demanding for visits from schools, veterinarians teach the children about feeding, caring and treating animals. The facility aims to gain awareness of the protection of street animals and to instil the love of animals to young children. Children love the animals in the facility and show compassion to them.
 
Children learn about the Denizli Rooster
 
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Street Animals Housing, Rehabilitation Center and Wildlife Park is also the home of Denizli Rooster, the symbol of the city. Denizli Roosters are located in coops which are located in the facility. The visitors of the facility can learn about the Denizli Roosters, the natural heritage of the city. In the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Street Animals Housing, Rehabilitation Center and Wildlife Park there are species of Denizli Rooster such as Pamuk Kırı, Pekmez Kefi, Al Horoz and Demir Kırı.

Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan stated that the facility that they provided to the city in order to get rid of street animals was established on an area of 135 thousand square meters. Pointing out that the facility is important in terms of teaching children to love animals, for future generations to take care of street animals, Mayor Osman Zolan said, ''Our children learn how to love animals at a young age. We like to live with our friends in our facility and have the opportunity to spend time with them. These events are very important for our future generations to grow up with love feelings for animals. ''
