A cleaner environment with Metropolitan

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality DESKI, which has commissioned the concrete wastewater treatment plant project in Acıpayam, Çameli and Çardak districts, completed the wastewater treatment plant it started in Baklan district. The exemplary plant will play a crucial role in preventing wastewater pollution in the region.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (DESKİ) General Directorate, which has signed exemplary projects with its investments in the environment, built a concrete wastewater treatment plant in Baklan district after Acıpayam, Çameli and Çardak districts. The facility covers an area of  5,500 square meters and will have a daily average flow rate of the wastewater of 562 cubic meters in the first stage. In the Baklan Central Wastewater Treatment Plant built as a reinforced concrete biological wastewater advanced treatment plant, the wastewater is treated in such a way as to meet the irrigation water standards, using advanced biological organic carbon to discharge and remove the harmful organisms in the water.

Emphasizing that Baklan Central Wastewater Treatment Plant built as advanced biological treatment will play a very important role in preventing wastewater pollution of the region, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan pointed out that their investments continue to make a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations. Stating that the Metropolitan Municipality has built wastewater treatment plants in many districts such as Bekilli, Kale, Sarayköy and Tavas before, Mayor Osman Zolan said, ''We have rebuilt the infrastructure of Baklan with drinking water lines, sewerage and rainwater lines. Now we have completed the wastewater treatment plant and put it into service. We work day and night to meet the needs of our citizens. I wish the new treatment plant to be beneficial to our district. ''
