Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department organized the ''Local Animal Protection Officer'' training seminar. Animal lovers received the Local Animal Protection Officer certificate.

 Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Protection and Control Department organized the ''Local Animal Protection Officer'' training seminar under the Animal Protection Law No. 5199. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary-General Mustafa Gökoğlan, Head of Environmental Protection and Control Department Naciye Kapukıran and many animal lovers and guests who want to be trained to become ''Local Animal Protection Officers'' attended the seminar. Stating that this is a good training work for animal lovers, Deputy Secretary-General Mustafa Gökoğlan said, ''We are carrying out this meeting within the scope of Animal Protection Law No. 5199. In the next period, this law to be revised, and we will continue to work together. ''

Veterinary Surgeon Taner Söylemez from Denizli Branch Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Eren Yavuz from Denizli Chamber of Veterinarians, Veterinary Surgeon Elvan Alkaya from Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Street Animals Housing, Rehabilitation Center and Wildlife Park gave training in the ''Local Animal Protection Volunteers'' seminar organized within the scope of Animal Protection Law No. 5199. Following the training seminar, animal lovers received their certificates. The topics of the seminar were the Animal Protection Law No. 5199 and Implementing Regulation, European Convention on the Protection of Domestic and Pets, health, care and nutrition of stray animals, recognition of sick animals and first aid.
 
Local Animal Protection Volunteer
 
Local animal protection officers have the duty of carrying out all the activities coordinated by the local administrations such as care and vaccination of the stray animals, marking and registration of the vaccinated animals, sterilization, training the aggressive animals and ensuring their adoption.
