An exam anxiety seminar was organized for students who will take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) this year as part of the Hand in Hand for Education Project implemented by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Council Youth Assembly. The seminar took place online within the scope of coronavirus (Covid-19) measures that affected the whole world. The seminar held by the teleconference method at the City Council was given by the guidance instructor İnci Nur Çetin. Explaining the ways that students stay away from stress and anxiety while taking the exam, Çetin said, ''Anxiety is a natural part of our life, but anxiety is not an unsolvable issue. The important thing is not to let anxiety prevent us from learning. During the examination process, the student cannot remember what they know when they cannot demonstrate their performance. Fear and anxiety are different things. It is necessary to separate the two. It is necessary to stay away from negative thoughts during the exam. The most important step in dealing with anxiety is to motivate yourself by thinking that you will be successful. ''

Gülseren Akın, the Coordinator of Hand in Hand for Education  Project said that they have been taking classes online since March when the schools closed due to a pandemic. We spent the time better during the pandemic period by repeating the exam subjects and making tests with our students. Also, we provided a seminar where our students learned how to get rid of stress and anxiety related to the university exam. We will continue to support our students. I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor Osman Zolan, who always gave us support. ''
