Great support to the revival of Turkish culture from the Metropolitan
Teaching people of all ages the folk dances of various regions of Anatolia for free, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is giving support to the revival of Turkish culture. Enrollment for the folk dance courses to be started on October 4 continues in the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Sports Course Registration Center.
The folk dance free courses organized every year by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality in order to give all people the opportunity to reach our traditional folk dances continue this year, too. Investing a lot in order to keep alive the Turkish culture as well as to preserve the classic municipal services, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Folk Dance Course is addressed to all ages. At the folk dance course which will begin on October 4 attendees will be taught Zeybek dance, Teke, Black Sea, Caucasian, Artvin, Silifke and halay folk dances. Free courses will be given in two separate groups, including adults and children at Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Yenişehir Sports Center and İncilipınar Sports Hall.

Those who want to get information about the courses which will be given during the week and to register may apply to the Sports Registration Center next to the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Central Indoor Sports Hall. While the last year around 1,000 participants attended the folk dance course, the number is expected to increase further this year.

Stating that they have realized many courses and investments in order to keep alive the Turkish culture and traditions, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan, ''Our goal is to ensure that our culture left us by our ancestors won't be forgotten by our future generations and to continue to keep alive our values. We are waiting all our citizens to attend the free folk dances courses, ''he said.
