Three new drinking water sources from Metropolitan DESKİ to Kelleci and Bekirler
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality DESKİ started a new drinking water supply project in Kelleci and Bekirler neighbourhoods of Babadağ district. Within the scope of the project, three new drinking water sources will be opened in the region and will be laid a total of 9,000 meters of transmission lines.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (DESKİ) General Directorate continues its efforts to ensure that citizens have more qualified and sufficient drinking water. In this context, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality DESKİ started a study to find new sources against the decrease in the flow of drinking water resources due to drought in Kelleci and Bekirler Neighbourhoods of Babadağ District. Continuing their efforts to provide quality and sufficient drinking water, Metropolitan DESKİ teams found three new drinking water sources, as the Karaçam, Uzunsuluk and Güneysu sources. When the drainage works at the Karaçam water source are completed, 3,000 meters of transmission lines will be laid here, with a total of 9,000 meters of transmission lines in the region under the project.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan said that the General Directorate of Metropolitan Municipality DESKİ continues to work day and night to meet the drinking water needs of the citizens. Pointing out that there was a decrease in water levels with the drought, felt more recently, Mayor Zolan said, ''We mobilize all our resources in line with the needs of our citizens and find new sources of drinking water. As long as Allah gives us strength, we will continue to provide quality services. May it already be auspicious. ''
