Publishing a message on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the visit of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, to Denizli, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan said: "On February 4, 1931, the founder of our Republic, the Commander-in-Chief of the War of Independence, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. He honoured and made our city proud by honouring our city. This historical visit is very important and valuable for our Denizli. Like our ancestors, we are living the honour, pride and excitement of 92 years." Reminding that Denizli stood by his father's side in the War of Independence, President Osman Zolan said, "Our patriotic ancestors, who have fought for independence until the last drop of blood in every period of history, did not put enemy boots in Denizli by fighting with this spirit during the National Struggle."
