''Qualified Youth, Strong Denizli'' project will bring young people into the software world

 

The SOGEP (Social Development Support Program), carried out by Development Agencies throughout Türkiye under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, aims to reduce youth unemployment, increase their professional competence and support their career development by making young people more equipped. The ''Qualified Youth, Strong Denizli'' project continues at full speed. Training carried out under the coordination of the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA) in collaboration with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Acıpayam Municipality, Denizli Employment Agency, Pamukkale University (PAÜ) Technology Transfer Office (TEKNOKENT) and Denizli National Education Directorate take place in the specially prepared software laboratory and mechatronics workshop at the Metropolitan Municipality Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center.

 

Nearly 100 young people met the software world

 

Within the project, nearly 100 young people started practical applications and theoretical training. Young people receive training in four different software languages and electronic design during the 3-month training. In the software lab, teens will learn to develop web applications with C# and Unity, .Net MVC and Entity Framework in the software laboratory, develop web applications with PHP and MySQL, and mobile application development with React Native. In the mechatronics workshop, youth will   receive training on ardunio, basic electronics, electronic cards, and 3D design.

 

Mayor Zolan: ''Young people are our most precious''

 

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan stated they mobilized all their support to make young people more equipped and qualified. Mayor Zolan said, ''We always help our youth and future with all our support because we know that youth means future. ''Emphasizing that the ''Qualified Youth, Strong Denizli'' project will benefit young people and create new opportunities and professional horizons, Mayor Zolan said, ''Young people are our most precious. We will continue to mobilize all the opportunities in line with the wishes and demands of our youth. Hopefully, after completing the training process, dozens of young people will be trained as software developers in the digital world. I wish success to all our youth. ''
