All the teams of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality continue their feverish work to heal the wounds of the disaster, which DSI describes as a flood that occurs once in 100 years. Wishing the citizens affected by the disaster to get well soon, Mayor Zolan stated that the wounds would be healed together and all their needs would be met.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality teams continue their feverish work started in Akköy, Karahayıt, Haytabey and Uzunpınar neighbourhoods of the Pamukkale district, which was affected by the flood disaster. In this context, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (DESKİ) General Directorate teams, together with Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade, Science Affairs, Parks and Gardens, Environmental Protection and Control and Social Services Department, work with all teams from the day of the flood into the region. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality teams continue their work in the region with a total of 280 personnel, 105 construction machines and vehicles.

 

The rubble cleared, and the roads washed

 

While the damage assessment works continue, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality teams, which carried out the water discharge operations from the flooded structures and other areas, especially the residences and workplaces, cleared the roads from the rubble and made them open to traffic. The teams cleaned the roads by washing the mud on the streets and carried out repair work on the damaged roads. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Home Care and Health Center teams started cleaning works in the houses damaged by the flood. The teams who also cleaned the culvert passages that were closed due to the debris brought by the flood continued their work in the disaster area feverishly. Metropolitan Municipality would continue their work until the flood wounds would be completely healed.

 

Mayor Zolan visited the citizens in the region

 

Visiting the citizens in Akköy, Karahayıt, Haytabey and Uzunpınar neighbourhoods that were most affected by the flood, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan wished them to get well soon. Mayor Zolan, accompanied by Pamukkale Mayor Avni Örki and Pamukkale District Governor Uğur Bulut, stated that Denizli has been under the influence of heavy rains for days and drew attention to the fact that DSİ considers the disaster to be a disaster that happens once in 100 years. Noting that Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has been working in the region with all its teams since the first moment of the flood, Mayor Zolan said, ''We mobilized together with our Pamukkale Municipality and other institutions to heal the wounds of our citizens. Hopefully, we will continue to work until all needs are met. May Allah protect you from the worst. I once again wish all our citizens to get well soon. ''
