Magnificent program from the Metropolitan Municipality on the 100th anniversary
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality made a remarkable evening with the theatrical dance performance titled Destanların Dansı Yüzyılın Destanı (The Dance of Epics Epic of the Century)', organized as part of the Republic's 100th anniversary celebrations. On this unforgettable night, art enthusiasts embarked on a mysterious journey from darkness to light, from mystics to poets, from elegies to songs, and from victories to epics.

The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, known for its numerous events and programs celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Republic with great enthusiasm, delivered a magnificent program. The theatrical dance performance titled Destanların Dansı Yüzyılın Destanı (The Dance of Epics Epic of the Century) held at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center of the Metropolitan Municipality, was attended by the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan, Deputy Garrison Commander Colonel Erkan Dabi, Police Chief Yavuz Sağdıç, Gendarmerie Commander Hıdır Ayçiçek, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Serhat Akbulut, Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs Hüdaverdi Otaklı, invitees, and a large number of citizens. On this unforgettable night, art enthusiasts embarked on a mysterious journey from darkness to light, from mystics to poets, from elegies to songs, and from victories to epics. The cultural richness of Turkish people was blended, presenting thousands of years of history and culture to the audience through the most effective methods of performing arts like music, dance, and theatre.
From the Deluge of Noah to Karabakh
This program, which brought the cultures of peoples to the stage in a vast geography extending from Central Asia to Anatolia with its magnificent costumes and rich cast, consisted of two acts. The program addressed topics such as through the eyes of Dede Korkut, the Deluge of Noah, Nowruz Festival, Boğaçhan Epic, Tomris Hatun, Nizami Ganjavi and Rumi, Leyla and Majnun, Alp Arslan, Cevanşir, Gallipoli Epic, Caucasian Islamic Army, Atatürk and Heydar Aliyev, Separation, Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Ahmet Cevat, Hari Bülbül, and the reconquest of Karabakh into Turkish territory. The magnificent program received great acclaim, and at the end of the spectacular night, the audience gave a standing ovation to the artists.
"Long Live the Republic"
Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Osman Zolan, stated in his speech after the concert that they embarked on a journey to reach the depths of history with the magnificent work presented tonight. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Republic, Mayor Zolan said, "We remember with gratitude and respect our Republic's founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, our martyrs, and our veterans. Our duty is to protect this legacy in the best possible way and to elevate it further and higher, as Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, to exceed the level of contemporary civilization." Expressing that they must be strong in this region and work together hand in hand, Mayor Zolan said, "Hopefully, our Republic will remain everlasting. Long live the Republic." Mayor Zolan then presented a pedestal with the Denizli rooster to the General Art Director Serhat Turak.
