The 100th-anniversary celebrations continue with the Metropolitan Municipality
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan met with women in a program organized by the City Council for the 100th anniversary of the Republic's establishment. Emphasizing that they celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye with enthusiasm and pride, Mayor Zolan said, ''When we work hand in hand when we unite, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome, no goal we cannot reach. ''
The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Council continues its celebration programs specially organized for the 100th anniversary of the Republic's establishment. The program, held at Katipoğlu Wedding Hall, was attended by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan, City Council President Ali Değirmenci, Women's Assembly President Bilsen Özen, Women's Assembly members, and women residing in Aktepe, Karşıyaka, Fatih, Anafartalar, Pelitlibağ, and Hacıkaplanlar neighbourhoods, as well as neighbourhood mukhtars and invitees. The program, where the excitement of the 100th anniversary was celebrated to the fullest, began with performances of heroic folk songs by Ahmet Algün, an artist from the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Conservatory. Afterwards, the women welcomed Mayor Osman Zolan with Turkish flags and sang the 10th Year March together. Emphasizing that they celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye with enthusiasm and pride, Mayor Zolan expressed the joy of celebrating the Republic together in his speech.
"Let's Continue to Achieve Together"
Mayor Zolan stated the importance of acting in the spirit of unity and solidarity, saying, "When we work hand in hand when we unite, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome, no goal we cannot reach. As long as we believe in each other, unite, and focus on a common goal, there is nothing we cannot achieve together. Just as we have done so far, I hope we will continue to succeed together in the future," he said. Mayor Zolan continued his speech as follows, "I thank every one of you for the support you have given us and for walking with us. We have come a long way by doing many things, and hopefully, we will continue on our path by doing many more things in Denizli. I remember with mercy, gratitude, and thanks to all our heroes who gave their lives for this homeland, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. May their souls rest in peace."
