Cultural Meetings with the Metropolitan continue at full speed on the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

 

As part of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye, the Metropolitan Municipality of Denizli, which has organized special events, brought together the presenter and writer Pelin Çift with the historian Prof. Dr. Tufan Gündüz in the Cultural Meetings with the Metropolitan. The event, held at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center of the Metropolitan Municipality, was attended by Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan, Deputy General Secretaries Serhat Akbulut, Ömer Faruk Özer, President of the City Council Women's Assembly Bilsen Özen, invitees, and a large number of citizens. In the event, which attracted great interest from the citizens, the presenter, writer Pelin Çift, and the historian Prof. Dr Tufan Gündüz provided an enjoyable evening for the Denizli residents with their conversation titled "The 100-Year Story of the Republic."

 

Çift and Gündüz received the Denizli Rooster as a souvenir.

 

The presenter and writer Pelin Çift, who accompanied Prof. Dr Tufan Gündüz, sharing all the details of the founding stages of the Republic of Türkiye, received great appreciation. At the end of the program, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan presented a pedestal with the Denizli Rooster on it as a memento of the day to the presenter, writer Pelin Çift, and historian Prof. Dr Tufan Gündüz. At the end of the event, Çift and Prof. Dr Gündüz thanked Mayor Zolan for providing the city with such an important centre by examining the corner dedicated to the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the oil painting portrait of Atatürk by the great master Nejat Uygur at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center of the Metropolitan Municipality."
