The Metropolitan Republic Tournament continues

The sports tournaments organized by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic in 10 different disciplines continued with Taekwondo. The 400 athletes from 13 provinces participated in the competitions.
The 100th Anniversary of the Republic is being celebrated.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality continues to organize tournaments in 10 different sports disciplines, including volleyball, judo, basketball, wrestling, tennis, taekwondo, badminton, table tennis, archery, and swimming, in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye. In this context, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality held the 29th October Republic Day Taekwondo Competition at the Atatürk Sports Hall. The tournament was attended by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan, Deputy General Secretary Ömer Faruk Özer, ASKF Denizli Branch President Feyyaz Ceşen, guests, athletes, and their families. A total of 400 athletes from 38 teams participated in the tournament, representing a total of 13 cities, including Denizli, Bursa, Aydın, İzmir, İstanbul, Ankara, Kütahya, Bilecik, Uşak, Isparta, Antalya, Manisa, and Eskişehir. Mayor Zolan, who watched the fiercely competitive tournament, later awarded the medals to the winning athletes.
For many more centuries to come
Congratulating the athletes and teams, Mayor Osman Zolan stated that they have organized many programs in Denizli to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic with great enthusiasm, and one of these programs is the tournament held in 10 different sports disciplines. Emphasizing the importance of passing down to future generations how this sacred homeland, irrigated with the blood of martyrs, was won, Mayor Osman Zolan said, "As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, may we all together carry it forward to many more centuries to come. I thank all the participating athletes, their families, coaches, and everyone who has contributed. ''
