Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu published a message on the occasion of May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day and stated that May 1 is a meaningful day where all workers and labourers express their problems and shout their democratic reactions for equality, freedom, justice and peace in the squares. Emphasizing that they are always side by side with workers and labourers against all kinds of usurpation of rights against labour, Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu said, ''Labor is the most sacred value. We will celebrate May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day together with all our workers and labourers who earn their money with their labour and sweat and contribute to the development of our city and country. We will wave the flag of labour, solidarity, freedom, democracy, and peace in the squares together. ''

 

Stating that they will raise the voice of labour and solidarity together, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, ''With the longing for a future where peace, brotherhood, justice and solidarity prevail, we will build a better future of our city together with our workers and labouring brothers. We appreciate every drop of sweat and believe in the sanctity of labour for a humane life. With these feelings and thoughts, I respectfully commemorate everyone who lost their lives in the labour struggle. I sincerely congratulate the May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day of all our workers and labourers who produce with their sweat and who are our future and security. ''
