Celebrating May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day with the municipality employees, Mayor Çavuşoğlu stated they will all be servants to Denizli. Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, "There will be times when your labour will tire you, times when your night and day will blend into one. But we have to pay this debt to this city. Mayor Çavuşoğlu: "We have to pay this debt to this city. ''
Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu celebrated May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day together with the employees of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. Joy and excitement reached their peak during the celebrations of May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day, which were organized for the first time with the employees of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. Accompanied by drums and pipes, the employees celebrated the holiday joyously with folk dances in front of the municipality, holding Turkish flags and singing the İzmir March and the May 1st Anthem in unison. Mayor Çavuşoğlu, who did not leave the employees alone on May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day, made a speech there. Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, "Today is the holiday of labour, the holiday of sweat. Today is the holiday for those who struggle for the future of our country, our homeland and our municipality under difficult conditions. Today is the holiday of those who earn their living solely through sweat, without reaching out to the forbidden, without taking the rights of the orphans. Be assured that together, we will create a Denizli Metropolitan Municipality where the value of labour and the labourer rises, not only today but in all future holidays. I sincerely congratulate everyone on their holiday, May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day. "
''I am also a worker of this municipality.''
Emphasizing that they do not discriminate among the employees, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, "I made a promise to you here before the election. We will evaluate my companions not based on their political views but based on their values for labour, their services to the municipality, and their work." Stating that they will serve Denizli together, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, "Like you, I am also a worker of this municipality. I am someone who comes to work like you. The only difference between you and me is that I am the manager of this city. Apart from that, we will all be servants to this city. I want you to act with this awareness. This city is all of ours. If you have embarked on this journey, we will all struggle day and night to bring this city to the best point. There will be times when your labour will tire you, times when your night and day will blend into one. But we have to pay this debt to this city. Because every bite that passes through our throat belongs to this city, to the poor, to the children. Those orphans who have to walk barefoot in this city, who do not have money to buy shoes, have rights over us. That's why I only ask one thing from you. Let's make this city the most beautiful together. Let's create a city where people living in this city are happy. We will build this city where streets are clean and people's faces are smiling together. I trust you, and I hope you trust me too."
Republic of Türkiye Denizli Metropolitan Municipality
Explaining that they have gone through a difficult period, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, "I believe that we will overcome this difficult period together, with solidarity. Don't have any prejudice against me. I am one of you. I am your brother, who has come from the back of a watermelon truck. I am no different from you." He continued, "Earn your bread with your sweat. Neither Nuri Çavuşoğlu nor the mayors before me give you bread. There is only one institution that provides you with bread," he said, pointing to the sign of the Republic of Türkiye Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. "You are eating bread from the Republic of Türkiye Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. It is a permanent institution. Let's hold accountable together those who reach out for the bread of the poor. Let's break the hand that eats the bread of the poor together, my friends. I love you all. May God be with you. ''Later, Mayor Çavuşoğlu took a commemorative photo with the employees.
