Metropolitan Municipality's strict monitoring of school buses
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality's Transportation Department has begun inspections of school buses before the beginning of 2024-2025 academic year. To ensure students traveling to preschools, elementary, and middle schools are transported safely and comfortably, an inspection took place at Fatih Indoor Marketplace with the participation of the Transportation Department and the Municipal Police Department teams. A total of 621 vehicles with S-plated school bus permits issued by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will be inspected. The inspections will focus on checking compliance with regulations regarding stop signs, "school vehicle" markings, seat belts, internal components, external body, tires, air conditioning, cameras, and vehicle signage, as well as identifying any physical or technical deficiencies to ensure students have a safe and comfortable travel.
The inspections will continue at regular intervals
It was stated that Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will carry out routine inspections of vehicles, drivers, and guides throughout the educational period to ensure discipline in school transportation, prevent illegal transport, and protect the rights of active drivers.
