Both farmers and producers will gain

 

Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu announced that they would provide barley flake feed support to family farms that own a maximum of five cattle. With the project that Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will implement for small family farms, farmers and livestock breeders will benefit. First, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will purchase the remaining barley from the farmers, process it into flake feed, and then distribute it to cattle breeders. The project, which is expected to benefit around 10,000 producers, aims to support both farmers and livestock breeders.

 

Applications: Between August 26 and September 6, 2024.

 

Applications for the feed support project can be made between August 26 and September 6, 2024, either online at www.denizli.bel.tr or in person at the district service units of the Denizli Water and Sewerage Administration General Directorate (DESKİ) outside the city centre. To be eligible for the project, which aims to reduce breeders' production costs, improve the health and productivity of meat and dairy production, and contribute to the development and sustainability of livestock farming, producers must have no more than five cattle registered in their farms.

 

For an economy based on production, not rent

 

Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that they will provide feed support to help livestock breeders, whose production costs are increasing every day. Emphasizing that they will continue to implement projects that truly impact people's lives, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, ''We will carry out projects that are not just eye-catching but truly address the problems of our people. With our feed support project, farmers having surplus barley and producers receiving feed support will benefit.
