Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, who issued a message on the occasion of the start of the 2024-2025 academic year, stated that with the ringing of the first school bell, nearly 201,000 students would begin their lessons in 822 schools across the city. Expressing that they were all sharing the excitement and joy of the new academic year, Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, "Dear children and young people, never forget that every piece of knowledge and skill you acquire throughout your education will play a significant role in shaping our bright future. Therefore, study hard and hold tight to your teachers, who will guide you with their knowledge and light." Mayor Çavuşoğlu also emphasized that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades never thought of themselves while founding this beautiful Republic and added: "Like them, by saying 'we' instead of 'I,' you will take our beautiful country beyond modern civilizations and build a more civilized and prosperous nation based on reason and science. We will stand by you as strongly as possible on this path, providing all the support we can throughout your education, and together, we will build a happy and peaceful Denizli and Türkiye. With these sentiments and thoughts, I wish for a successful 2024-2025 academic year and extend my love and respect to our parents, teachers, and the entire education community."
