The voice of the youth is rising in Denizli
The Youth Workshop, which was organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Department of Youth and Sports Services, has concluded. The workshop, which drew great interest from young people living in various parts of the city who want to have a say in city governance, was held at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Cultural Center.

The Youth Workshop, organized by the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Department of Youth and Sports Services to give young people a platform to voice their opinions and bring their ideas to life, was completed with a large turnout at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Cultural Center. The workshop focused on the social, cultural, and economic expectations and solutions of Denizli's youth, aiming to provide them with a voice in city governance. Approximately 100 young people from 50 different high schools across the province attended the event, held in cooperation with the Denizli Provincial Directorate of National Education and district directorates. The Head of Youth and Sports Services Department, Ayşe Sarıkaya, Youth Services Branch Director, Ümit Öztürk, and Youth Services Social Projects Coordinator Bilge Naz Sak accompanied the youth at the workshop.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu emphasized the importance of the Youth Workshop for involving Denizli's youth in governance. He stated, ''Our youth are our greatest strength in shaping the Denizli's future. Through this workshop, we aim to build a stronger future together by listening to their ideas. With the energy and vision of our youth, we will take our city forward.''

Head of Youth and Sports Services Department, Ayşe Sarıkaya highlighted the municipality’s vision for youth initiatives and the significance of such events in her opening remarks. Sarıkaya stated, ''As a municipality, we see our youth not only as individuals of the future but as a dynamic and productive part of today. Listening to their thoughts, perspectives, the issues they face, and their solutions is crucial for shaping our strategies for the future.''

Following Sarıkaya, Youth Services Branch Director Ümit Öztürk pointed out the importance of working with youth. Speaking about the workshop, he said, ''Listening to youth and actively involving them in the process is essential for understanding their needs and expectations. Youth are our future, and their insights and suggestions are among the most valuable guides for our work as a municipality. This workshop provided an important opportunity to better hear our youth.''
The youth of Denizli shared their ideas
Throughout the workshop, young participants shared the issues they face and proposed solutions in areas such as social spaces and sports facilities, access to cultural and artistic activities, vocational training, career development, environmental awareness, and volunteering. This workshop was an important step in listening to youth demands, offering them a platform to suggest solutions, and providing them with the opportunity to participate in city governance.
