International Denizli Short Film Festival Begins
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is making another milestone by organizing the 1st International Denizli Short Film Festival. Emphasizing that Denizli continues to meet culture and art, Mayor Çavuşoğlu invited the public to the short film festival, where 43 films will be screened.

"Art City Denizli"
The International Denizli Short Film Festival, organized for the first time by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, will take place from December 2-7. The festival aims to bring the richness and uniqueness of cinema to the people of Denizli and introduce creative works in the field to a wider audience. It will be held at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center. A total of 43 films will be presented free of charge over five days. The free tickets for the festival can be obtained from ebilet.denizli.bel.tr. Starting December 2, films will be screened daily at 7:00 PM, and cinema lovers will be treated to free soda and popcorn.
Award Night on December 7
The award night for the 1st International Short Film Festival, which will be held for the first time in Denizli, will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 9:00 PM. The jury will consist of actress Ece Özdikici, actress and academician Gülşah Fırıncıoğlu Yaşar, actor and director İskender Altın, actor Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu, actress Sezin Bozacı, actor Ufuk Kaplan, and Prof. Dr. Zuhal Özel Sağlamtimur. The jury will announce the awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Documentary, Best Animation, Best Music, Best Female Actor, Best Male Actor, Jury Special Award, and Honorable Mention. The Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented, and the program will be hosted by İpek Dağıstanlı.
Mayor Çavuşoğlu's Invitation to the Art Celebration
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu invited all citizens to the short film festival, where a total of 43 films will be screened. Expressing the joy of organizing the first-ever International Short Film Festival under the motto "Art City Denizli," Mayor Çavuşoğlu stated, "We started our journey to create a city where everyone is happy, where faces are smiling. With this goal, we continue to bring our city together with culture and art. I invite all my fellow citizens to our festival, where we will present the richness and uniqueness of cinematic art."
