Before the ceremony to be held on the anniversary of the Cabar Massacre of April 1, 1921, during which 83 patriots were martyred, extensive cleaning works were conducted by the teams of the Parks and Gardens Department of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. At the memorial site located in the Bileşe neighbourhood of Çivril district in Denizli, works including weed removal, tree pruning, maintenance of walking paths, and general cleaning were carried out with great care. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has restored the final resting place of the Cabar martyrs to a clean, orderly, and dignified appearance in line with the spirit of the commemoration. The commemoration program will take place on Thursday, April 2, at 14:00.
