Third Mobile Catering Vehicle Hits the Roads
The Denizli Metropolitan Municipality’s mobile catering service, which has become a symbol of sharing and solidarity across Denizli’s 19 districts and 616 neighborhoods, has further enhanced its capacity with the addition of a new vehicle to its fleet. The third mobile catering vehicle, which has begun operating under the Department of Social Services, will expand community outreach with its modern equipment and increased capacity. The mobile catering vehicles, introduced as a first in the city’s history, served soup, rice, ayran, halva, and water to 1,177,000 people last year, and with the expansion of the fleet, will reach even broader audiences. Serving in areas with high public density, such as marketplaces, mosques, squares, hospitals, industrial zones, campuses, and public transportation stops, the mobile units also stand by citizens during emergencies such as fires and natural disasters.
“We Stand by Our Citizens in Difficult Times as Well”
Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that the mobile catering vehicles will continue to operate intensively in 2026, adding that the third vehicle has been incorporated into the fleet in response to strong public interest and growing needs. Mayor Çavuşoğlu said, “With our community tables reaching every corner of our city, we stand by our citizens not only in good times but also in difficult moments such as fires, natural disasters, and times of need. With our understanding of social municipalism, we continue our journey to make Denizli a happier and more peaceful city by strengthening our culture of solidarity and mutual support.”
