Two mulching machines delivered

Within the framework of ongoing efforts to expand mechanization in agricultural activities and to bring technology together with producers, the support provided aims to make soil processing operations more efficient, particularly in the production of melon, watermelon, tomato, pepper, and strawberry. The project is designed to reduce labor losses, minimize environmental impacts, and promote sustainable land use.

Delivery ceremony held in Gümüş Neighborhood

The delivery ceremony held in Gümüş Neighborhood of Acıpayam was attended by Acıpayam Mayor Levent Yıldırım, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department Head Yücel Arazsu, Gümüş Neighborhood Headman Musa Yılmaz, and local producers. Speaking at the ceremony, Acıpayam Mayor Levent Yıldırım emphasized the importance of the Metropolitan Municipality’s support for producers, stating: “We are witnessing a new service from our Metropolitan Municipality. The mulching unit needed by our citizens has been provided by our Municipality. We started from Gümüş Neighborhood. We invite all citizens in need to apply. We will allocate the machinery to them. I would like to thank everyone involved, especially our Metropolitan Mayor.”

Producers express their gratitude

Expressing their satisfaction with the support provided, producers stated that the mulching machines would significantly ease their work, thanking Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. They also noted that the continuation of such support would greatly contribute to both productivity and cost reduction.
