Çavuşoğlu: “Our producers will prosper, and Denizli will grow”
Applications open for the “Five-Component Forage Crop Seed Support Program”
Acting under the principle of “Supporting Production, Empowering Our Farmers,” Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will provide a lifeline to hundreds of producers across the city through a high-nutritional-value five-component forage crop seed mix consisting of Hungarian vetch, forage pea, triticale, awnless wheat, and winter oats. Within the scope of the project, applications will be accepted from producers who declare vetch, Hungarian vetch, common vetch, forage pea, triticale, oats, or rye as their primary crop in their 2027 Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) records, which will be available starting on 1 September 2026. Applicants must reside in Denizli, and the land on which the seeds will be planted must be within Denizli's provincial borders. Only one person per household will be eligible for the support program.
Applications can be submitted online and through district centres.
Farmers may submit their applications between 8 and 30 June 2026 through the “Applications” section of the municipality’s official website or via the designated online application platform. In addition, applications may be submitted in person at DESKİ District Service Units located in district centres. Those wishing to benefit from the program may obtain detailed information by calling 0258 280 20 20 during working hours. Following the approval process, eligible producers will be informed of seed distribution dates and times via SMS and other communication channels.
“We stand by our farmers for a productive and prosperous season”
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu emphasised their determination to support small and medium-sized producers, who are the backbone of agriculture and livestock farming, under all circumstances. He stated: “One of our foremost responsibilities is to ease the burden on our farmers, who work tirelessly on the fertile lands of Denizli and contribute to production through their dedication and hard work. At a time when economic conditions are placing significant pressure on our producers, we are launching our Five-Component Forage Crop Seed Support Program to help reduce feed costs, which represent the largest expense in livestock farming. Our goal is to increase the productivity of our lands while directly contributing to the budgets of our fellow citizens engaged in livestock production. We stand by all our farmers who protect their land and spare no effort in production every step of the way. I wish all our producers a successful and fruitful new production season. Our producers will prosper, and Denizli will continue to grow.”
