Denizli Metropolitan Municipality provides free public transportation support for national athletes
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality is offering a significant benefit to national athletes who proudly represent the city on national and international platforms. National athletes residing in Denizli and actively continuing their sporting careers will be able to use municipal buses free of charge.

Under the new program, athletes holding a valid “National Athlete Certificate” issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports or the relevant sports federations will be entitled to free travel on city buses operated by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc. The initiative aims to reduce transportation expenses incurred by national athletes during training sessions and competitions, thereby providing both economic and athletic support.
Application requirements announced
Athletes wishing to benefit from the program must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants are required to submit a National Athlete Certificate issued within the last five years, a valid athlete license for the 2025–2026 season, and a certificate of residence.
Eligible national athletes will receive a free transportation subscription card that allows unlimited travel on municipal buses until 31 December 2026.
