City Theatre Presents The Story Of Cinderella
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre continue to provide free theatre performances for all theatre lovers.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre's students offered unforgettable moments to the little ones. Like every year, this year Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre have delighted everyone with a new adventure, one of Cinderella. The first guests of this year's play performance were the students of Anafartalar and Aktepe Study Centers and students of Charity Association Elementary School.
Speaking about the play, Director of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Cultural and Social Affairs Department, Hüdaverdi Otaklı, ''Last year children had the opportunity to meet with the cat hero Anhelmus and they loved him very much. Therefore we decided to continue the adventures of these beloved heroes, ''he said. Otaklı also mentioned that many children haven't met the theater, ''Talking with our students and children we learned that many of them have never met theater. This is a very sad situation from our perspective. We don't want our children to sit all day long in front of the TV or computer. For this reason, in order to attract our kids in different directions we are organizing different activities such as theater. Our goal is that all children in Denizli to meet the theater. We'll do our best to achieve this goal, ''he said.
Written by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre Artistic Director Sinan Küçüköz and directed by Önder Tahmaz, the new play will be staged during the month of March and April at the Çatalçeşme Theatre Hall.
