Young people demonstrated their talent in theatre
While reaching over 40 thousand spectators in the last two years, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Young Denizli Theatre Club also gave the opportunity to hundreds of young people to demonstrate their talents.
Founded within Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Young Denizli Project, the Theatre Club has announced its studies of the last 2 years. Young Denizli Theatre Club starting its activities in December, 2012. While gathering together hundreds of young people under the name of theatre, Young Denizli Theatre Club has provided training in theatre and also gave the opportunity to young people to demonstrate their talents on stage. Until today have been trained 1,200 students. Their theatre plays put on stage after the training have reached over 40 thousand spectators. By participating in the "2nd National Theatre and Tourism Festival" held in Elazığ with the play "Savaş Oyunu"(War Game) Young Denizli Theatre Club has won the "Best Director", "Best Game", "Best Actor", "Best Actress" awards. This season has started with "Taziye"(Sympathy) theatre play written by Murathan Mungan and directed by Hakan Kurt with a team of 24 young actors taking the scene.
Free representations every week
Young Denizli Theatre Club announced that new theatre plays will be put on stage for theater lovers. The Theatre Club will continue to put on stage free theatre plays on every Fridays and Sundays at the Çatalçeşme Theatre Hall.
