Metin Üstündağ's cartoon exhibition meets art lovers
One of the masters of Turkish humour and cartoon art, Metin Üstündağ, is presenting his cartoon exhibition ''Love Is Played by Two, the Good One Loses'' to art lovers in Denizli from February 14 to 20.
Organized by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, the exhibition ''Aşk İki Kişiyle Oynanır, İyi Olan Kaybeder'', featuring the cartoons of Metin Üstündağ, will open on Friday, February 14, at 17:30, at Turan Bahadır Art Gallery. Starting his artistic career with Çarşaf and Gırgır magazines, Üstündağ played a key role in the founding of renowned humour magazines such as Limon, Leman, Nankör, Deli, Öküz, OT and Penguen. His works blend humour with profound social observations. The exhibition will include his cartoons and reflect the artist's connection with literature and the visual arts. Opening on Valentine's Day, it offers a thought-provoking perspective on love, human relationships, and the irony of life. Art lovers can visit the exhibition between February 14 and 20.
