Elected and Appointed Monitoring Association awarded Mayor Nihat Zeybekci

Mayor Zeybekci was chosen 'the Mayor of Year in Turkey' in the ceremony of ‘People and Organizations of Year in Turkey’, which was organized by Association for the 7th time. The ceremony was organized at Association of Municipalities in Turkey. Erdoğan Bayraktar Chairman of Housing Development Administration of Turkey and many guests participated in the ceremony. People and Organizations of the Year in Turkey selection completed. Köksal Toptan Speaker of Turkish Grand National Assembly was selected as Man of the Year in Government and Politics. Binali Yıldırım Minister of Transport was selected as the 'Minister of the Year', Hasan Gerçeker Chairman of Court of Appeals as 'Lawyer of the Year', Tahir Akyürek Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality as 'Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality of the Year'.

Nihat Zeybekci was awarded as ''City Mayor of the Year'. Ali Doğan Chairman of the Board of Directors of EAMA presented the plaque to Mayor Zeybekci. Zeybekci stated that Denizli Municipality provides great services for Denizli. We build new bridge intersections and open space areas; we laid sewage pipelines, we build solid waste facilities, roads and sport fields in each district. We try to make our Denizli a model city for all Turkey. Over 2 million foreign tourist visits our city. We are exporting goods worth $ 3 billion.

Meanwhile, at the ceremony in different professional groups 27 elected and appointed people and representatives of organizations were awarded.
