The Turkish Language Association Awards Mayor Zeybekci
Turkish Language Association awarded Mayor Nihat Zeybekci with the Turkish Language Association's Certificate of Honor because he brought into practice the compulsory use Turkish names for workplaces in accordance to the unanimous were decision of the city council.

Eurasia Executive Industrialists and Businessmen Association organized the 3th Year of Foundation and Award Ceremony at Police House. Hasan Canpolat Denizli Governor, Nihat Zeybekci Mayor of Denizli Municipality, Ali Alaybeyoğlu deputy mayor, Prof. Dr. Şükrü Haluk Akalın Chairman of Turkish Language Association and Prof. Dr. Recep Toparlı Vice Chairman, directors, businessmen, members of city council and many guests took part in the ceremony. Ozan Nihat Sönmez amused audience with reed.
Mehmet Gökçe Chairman of EEIBA stated that Association in last foundation year has organized 'The Best Turkish Business Name' contest and Denizli Municipality 3 month ago took the decision to use Turkish Name in workplaces. He noted that Association would continue to protect the nation's values.
Turkish Name in all workplaces
Mayor Nihat Zeybekci stated that inspiration to use Turkish Name in workplaces came from the contest and from Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey's firman 'Divanda, dergahta ve bargahta Türkçe Konuşula' (The Turkish speaking at Divan, Dergah and Bargah). The nation must to introduce works that can be proud of. These may be the structures, historical tissues and economic structure. We should remember that Great Leader Atatürk showed the level of contemporary civilization as the target of Turkish Nation. Kemalism does not mean a repetition of the reforms or objectives. Kemalists meaning what have I done to achieve those goals so far?
Awakening of Turkish Language
Şükrü Haluk Akalın stated that public institutions and non-governmental organizations began to protect and develop Turkish Language. Today many Municipalities are taking Denizli Municipality's decision related to Turkish language. Non-governmental institutions organize events in this context. This is very significant and pleasing. All municipalities are taking these decisions by consensus.
Should be no conflict
Hasan Canpolat stated that Turkish language is a well-established language. He added that Denizli Municipality and Eurasia Executive Industrialists and Businessmen Association implements important and model studies such as Turkish Language. Then Award Ceremony was held. Prof. Akalın gave the certificate of Honor to Mayor Zeybekci and Mayor presented to Prof. Dr. Akalın the council decision. City Council's members also were awarded. New participants of Association and businessmen who used Turkish name also were awarded.
