Turkish Vision Music Festival Is Continuing
The 3rd Turkish Vision International Turkish Music Festival, which was organized together with the collaboration of Denizli Governorship, Denizli Municipality and TRT in full swing.
100 artists from 20 countries will perform songs on stage. Winners of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, Eldar and Nigar will take part in the Festival. Janissary band of musicians of Denizli Municipality and artists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Crimea, Gagauzia, Romania, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece, Georgia, T.R.N.C, Bulgaria, Palestine, Syria, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Altai (East Turkestan) participated in the cortege.
Before the cortege, festivals group visited Denizli Governor Yavuz Erkmen in his office. Governor Yavuz Erkmen, Mayor Osman Zolan, Süleyman Köksoy General Director of External Service of TRT and President of the TRT Turkish Vision Festival attended in the cortege of festival, which was the scene of colorful images. Winners of Eurovision Song Contest 2011 and Azerbaijan group was carrying the Turkish flag until the end of the cortege.
Mayor Osman Zolan welcomed the festival groups in his office. He expressed gratitude to members of all festival groups and stated that purpose of the festival is to spread the proper use of the Turkish language around the world. I believe, that we will contribute to the development of intercultural dialogue.
Then cocktail reception was held in the garden of Denizli Municipality. The first day of the festival continued with a concert of TRT channel's artists at Çınar Square.Nihat Zeybekci Member of Parliament, Yavuz Erkmen Denizli Governor, Osman Zolan Mayor of Denizli Municipality presented plaques to artists. Especially, folk songs of the region of Denizli performed by Makbule Kaya won approval of audience.
