Spring Sports Festival in Denizli
Spring Sports Festival, organized by Denizli Municipality in collaboration with 'Turkey for Everybody' Sports Federation and Disabled Assembly of Denizli Municipality will begin on 4 May 2012 / Friday and will continue for 3 days.
Sports activities will be as follows: football, street basketball, sitting volleyball, goalball, tug- of-war, and athletics, running and walking race, bike tour, handkerchief puss game, dodgeball and blind man's buff. All Denizli citizens will be able to participate in Festival, which will be held at Adalet Park. Mayor Osman Zolan: 'Our goal is to encourage everybody to play sports and to keep away from bad habits. We invite all to join with us.'
Festival’s program is as follows:
4 May 2012 / Friday
10.00 am: Visit to Denizli Governor, Cortege Walk
2.00 pm: Opening Ceremony of Festival, Protocol speeches, Mehteran Show of İsmail Tosunoğlu School of Business Training Center
3.00 pm: Tennis, football, basketball and sitting volleyball competitions
5 May 2012 / Saturday
10.00 am: Goalball, tug- of-war, tennis, football, basketball and traditional games
