Thousand citizens have played sports

Thousand of citizens have played sports during the Spring Sports Festival, organized by Denizli Municipality in collaboration with 'Turkey for Everybody' Sports Federation and Disabled Assembly of Denizli Municipality. Spring Sports Festival, organized by Denizli Municipality for the first time continued for 3 days. Thousand of citizens attended the festival, which was held free of charge.
Festival consisted of sports games such as football, street basketball, sitting volleyball, goalball, tug- of-war, and athletics, running and walking race, bike tour, handkerchief puss game, dodgeball and blind man's buff.
Festival began with placing the wreath to Ataturk Monument in front of Denizli Governorship and ended with concert given by Adnan Koparan.
Before the concert, participants of festival received certificates of completion and winners were awarded with medals from Şamil Çınar deputy mayor. He noted that henceforth the Spring Sports Festival will be organized every year.
Later artist Adnan Koparan took the stage. He performed beautiful songs for participants of the festival. At the end of the concert deputy mayor presented flowers to artist.
