
The 12th International Folk Dance Festival Begins
The 12th International Folk Dance Festival organized by Denizli Municipality begins. 300 dancers from 9 countries will participate in the Festival, which will begin on 25 June.
The 12th International Folk Dance Festival organized by Denizli Municipality begins. 300 dancers from 9 countries will participate in the Festival, which will begin on 25 June. Mayor Zolan said that Denizli will the meeting point of different cultures.
Dancers from Kyrgyzstan, TRNC, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Albania and Denizli Municipality's PAHOY Folk Dance Group will participate in the Festival.
Mayor: ‘Festival’s groups will demonstrate shows in Delikliçınar Square, İncilipınar Park, Meska Amphitheater and Adalet Park. The purpose of festival is to know each other; to learn different cultures, traditions and arts.’
The Festival will start on 25 June with cortege from Denizli Governorship to Denizli Municipality.
