Denizli Municipality's 'E-Government' Award

Denizli Municipality continues to receive awards for its successful efforts. In e-Government Gateway, Denizli Municipality took the 38th place among 2943 municipalities of Turkey.
Ministry of Transport and Communication has organized 'e-Government Promotion Meeting and Awards Ceremony' held in Ankara. Minister of Transport and Communication Binali Yıldırım, Minister of Interior Affairs Muammer Güler, deputy mayor of Denizli Municipality Mustafa Ünal on behalf of Osman Zolan Mayor of Denizli Municipality, General Director of Türksat Joint-Stock Company Özkan Dalbay and award-winning provincial and district mayors attended the program. Denizli Municipality has provided the largest contribution to the transformation of Turkey into an information society.
Minister Binali Yıldırım gave e-government award to deputy mayor Mustafa Ünal. Mustafa Ünal stated that Denizli Municipality attaches importance to e-government project. Investments in this field will continue to increase.
Denizli Municipality has began to offer municipal services in safe and efficient manner through e-government. Through e-government citizens will be able to make registration information inquiry, declaration information inquiry, querying data collection, debt information inquiry, information application inquiry. In addition, through this system, citizens will be able to access to information about fair value of land, wear rates of the building and environmental tax rates.
Minister Yıldırım stated that 38 provincial and district municipalities use e-government system. 'Now citizens will be able to perform all the operations via the e-government system. In the meantime, we will implement the biometric card system soon.'
