Nowruz celebration in Denizli

Nowruz Holiday, which was organized by Denizli Municipality, International Organization of Turkish Culture and Turkish World Municipalities Association, was celebrated in Denizli with enthusiasm.
Mayor Osman Zolan, Governor Abdülkadir Demir, MPs Niaht Zeybekci, Nurcan Dalbudak, Mehemt Yüksel, Denizli Chief of Police Zeki Bulut,Secretary General of Turkish World Municipalities Association Mustafa Başkurt, members of protocol and citizens attended the Nowruz celebration, held at Adalet Park.
Groups from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iraqi Turkmens, Gagauzia (Republic of Moldova), Kazakhstan and Chuvashia showed dance and music performances.
Mayor Zolan: 'Many nations gave their own national motifs to Nowruz; people have enriched this day. Nowruz is a symbol of goodness and light. Nowruz brings the joy of life, peace and tranquility. We are celebrating this beautiful day with our guests from different countries. We are branches of the same tree. Together we're stronger. I congratulate all citizens with Nowruz.
Nowruz is the national holiday, extending from Middle Asia to the Balkans. I believe that this celebration program will contribute to get to know each other.'
Nihat Zeybekci congratulated all citizens with Nowruz. Turkish World Nowruz Festival, which describes the arrival of spring, is known as abundance and fertility. This event reminds once again the importance of of such values as love, peace and brotherhood for all humanity.
Governor also made the speech and congratulated all citizens with Nowruz Holiday.
