The 29th International Amateur Theatre Festival Begins
The 29th International Amateur Theatre Festival, which was organized by Denizli Municipality has began. The citizens of Denizli was overwhelmed from 'Puzzles' theatre play of Karman Theatre Group from Russia.
18 national and international groups participate in the festival, organized by Cultural and Social Affairs Department. The first theatre play of foreign group was staged by Karman Theatre Group from Russia at Hasan Kasapoğlu Congress and Culture Center.
Mayor Osman Zolan with his wife Berrin Zolan, Assistant Governor Abdullah Acar, Deputy Mayor Şamil Çınar, theater actors and theatre lovers showed great interest to the theatre.
Mayor Zolan in his speech adressed to theatre lovers. He stated that the most effective messages will be presented to people. He thanked everyone, who contributed to organization of the festival in the 29th time. I hope that festival will be celebrated in 30th and 50th times. We thank everyone, who served the art of theater.
Then Karman Theatre Group put on 'Puzzles' play. The theme of theatre play, written by Theatre Company Karman and directed by Yuliya Luyonva was about today's young people, who have become dependent on computer and can not do without a computer.
At the end of theatre, Osman Zolan and Abdullah Acar presented flowers and plaques to actors.
