The 2nd International Glass Festival Has Begun

 Denizli Glass Festival, organized by Denizli Municipality has begun with participation of glass artists from Turkey and abroad.
The opening of festival was held at Çatalçeşme Theatre Room with the participation of deputy mayors Ali Değirmenci and Şamil Çınar and many artists and citizens. Çınar in his opening speech stated that festival includes various activities. 'Local and foreign glass artists participate in the festival. We should get benefits from their knowledge and skills. Our goal is to contribute to tourism by introducing our city. The other purpose is develop and spread the art of glass in Denizli. In this sense, festival will provide an important contribution. I would like to thank Karma Design Workshop and everyone, who contributed to organization of the festival.'
Foreign glass artists Gianni Toso, Sally Prasch, Vittorio Costantini and Lucio Bubacco and academics and artists from different provinces of Turkey, who are engaged in glass art attended the festival. During the opening of festival, artists presented the spectacular show.
During the festival, conferences on the theme of various scientific studies on glass and development of the glass art throughout the history will be organized by academics. In addition, citizens will be able to attend the concert.
