
15 Countries From 4 Continents Met in Denizli
The 13th International Folk Dance Festival organized by Denizli Municipality has started.
This year the 13th International Folk Dance Festival organized by Denizli Municipality has started. Uzbekistan, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Gambia, India, Moldova, Adjara, Romania, Serbia, Cyprus, Slovakia, Thailand, Jordan and Ukraine attended the festival with 500 dancers. The festival has strated with cortege walk from in front of the Governorship of Denizli in Delikliçınar Square.
The festival began with a demonstration of color expressing Zolan, ''The festival is gathering in Denizli the cultural colors. We'll transfer our culture to Denizli's future guests. We'll introduce out city and our country. We'll make from our guests a cultural ambassador. We are happy to bring here together the colors of different continents of the world. The aim is by providing a cultural exchange to contribute to world peace. We are pleased to welcome our guests in Denizli. I want to thank everyone who contributed to the festival, "he said.
Festival hosts from Turkey, Pamukkale Folk Dance of Denizli Municipality participated to the festival near the folk dance groups from 15 countries performing on the scene established in the Delikliçınar Square.
Was reported that as well as Delikliçınar Square, Incilipınar Park, Justice Park, Mükerrem-Mehmet Eke Secondary School, Ziya Tıkıroğlu Art Center during 5 days will held demonstrations in the districts of Denizli as Honaz, Buldan, Acıpayam, Tavas and Çivril.
