Turkey's Largest Children's Festival Begins
The 3rd Turkey's largest Children's Festival began. Held in the last two years in the city center of Denizli, this year due to Denizli's becoming metropolitan, Children's Festival will be carried out by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality in all Denizli's districts.
Beginning the Children's Festival in Acıpayam, Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan, ''We said everything that is in the city center will be also in the districts and be brought the Children's Festival in the districts. This year, in order to give an unforgettable day to all children living in Denizli we began the Children's Festival in Acıpayam, ''he said.
Mayor Zolan in Acıpayam
Mayor Zolan started his visit to Acıpayam by visiting the governorship of the district. Chatting for a while with the governor of Acıpayam Uğur Kalkar, Mayor Zolan, ''The metropolitan will add value to Acıpayam, to our villages, our towns and to all Denizli. We will see that many of the problems will be solved. We will strive to fulfill your demands. New structures began. As we all know Mayor Zolan has provided very important services for Denizli while he was mayor of Denizli Municipality. I'm sure he will be successful in his projects all over Denizli in the future. Acıpayam will go further with the metropolitan, ''he said.
Mayor Zolan wished success to Şevkan
Mayor Zolan's next stop was Acıpayam Municipality. Welcomed there by Acıpayam Mayor Hulusi Şevkan and municipal staff, Mayor Zolan wished them success. Stating that metropolitan will add value to Acıpayam and to all Denizli, Mayor Zolan, ''Thank you for this beautiful welcome. I congratulate Mayor Hulusi for wining the elections and I wish him to bring more better services in Acıpayam. Together with metropolitan both Acıpayam and the villages will have to win. We'll bring the services from the city center to all districts and villages. We started our work as Metropolitan. Water and sewer services started to work under a new institution named DESKİ which belongs to Denizli Metropolitan Municipality. From now on Denizli Metropolitan Municipality will provide services related to drinking water and sewerage to all districts and villages connected to Denizli. Also the funeral services and fire services will be provided in a more effective way. I hope all the districts and villages will receive the best services, ''he said.
Three thousand children entertained
Later Mayor Zolan and his retinue passed to festival area established on the Acıpayam Stadium. From the first day the Children's Festival organized by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality has enjoyed and entertained around 3000 children. Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Osman Zolan and Mayor of Acıpayam Hulusi Şevkan have participated to children's entertainment.
The festival has begun in Acıpayam
Stating that since two years the festival was held in the city center of Denizli, but this year, due to Denizli's becoming metropolitan, Children's Festival will be carried out by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality in all Denizli's districts, Mayor Zolan, ''Today we have started the third edition of Children's Festival. This year we have begun this festival in our district Acıpayam. Children of Acıpayam were very happy and had a lot of fun. We had the possibility to take souvenir photos with them and to chat for a while. Children are our future, they are everything for us. We have to provide our children education, health, sports, green spaces, leisure facilities at the highest level. We are organize this festival every year for our children. I wish all children to have a fun. I hope they will spend wonderful moments, ''he said.
